D-4 Authorize School Board Chairman to approve periodic contractual expenses for School Board Attorney (Mrs. Studdard)
Issue/Rationale
The contract for the School Board attorney requires that certain expenses be paid for by the School Board. These include but are not limited to library materials, publications, bar membership, professional organization membership. At this point in time the Superintendent has determined that neither he nor his staff will approve the payment of such bills because the attorney is the School Board employee.
Recommended Action
Superintendent's recommendation will follow his comments in the board meeting.
